I've just released my first IM product as a free WSO.

It's been a bit of a whirlwind because I only came up with the idea literally one week ago.

I've already read the ebook and tried to find several good names, how about twitter.co (still available ) ? btw facebook.co already taken...

Trademarked names are a bad idea because the trademark owner can come in and take it off you at any time. Names of famous companies (Twitter, Facebook, McDonalds etc) are almost always trademarks.
